• You must take the test starting at 45 years of age and repeat it every 5 years

Procedure used to visualize the digestive system
It is performed when symptoms such as: abdominal pain, difficulty swallowing, persistent
heartburn, etc.
• This study is used for the prevention and diagnosis of ulcers, cancer and narrowing of the
stomach, among other conditions
• A biopsy can be performed
• It is performed under sedation to avoid pain
